We are a family business, Sheree and Koreen are sisters. We have been in the accounting sector throughout our working lives. We have worked for large organisations, and we have run our own businesses, with a combined total of 90 years between us in the accounting sector. Putting it like that makes us feel old!
Now we are working together, combining the experience and expertise that we have acquired from the various accounting sectors we have been involved in over the years.

Koreen James FMAAT
Koreen is the driving force behind Synergy Accounting.
She has been a tax practitioner for more than 30 years. Koreen is a Fellow Member of The Association of Accounting Technicians, which means that not only is she licensed and regulated by the AAT, but her senior status in terms of knowledge and experience is acknowledged by the AAT.
This is an acknowledgement of her sustained professionalism and advanced expertise, which indicates to any business, that does not have its own in house expertise, and is therefore looking to engage the services of an outside organisation, that the organisation they are considering is capable of providing a high standard of service with skilled and experienced personnel.
Before she ran her own business she had worked in the accounting field for a number of large organisations, including Philips, Anchor foods, Nestle and ATS.
Koreen appreciates that whilst there are advantages to being your own boss, the responsibility for making all the major decisions can be daunting, without having someone to discuss the pros and cons with, as tends to be the case for those of us who are sole traders.
Koreen is very approachable, a long way from the classic stuffy accountant, and definitely not just a bean counter.
Sheree Ager
Sheree has been providing accountancy services for our clients for more than 2 years. Sheree has been working remotely in Essex where she has been living.
She has held a number of accountancy related positions during her working life, the last 15 years of which have been as a legal cashier and office manager for a large charity.
As well as working in accounting roles in various organisations, Sheree has operated her own limited company, which lends her insight into the complexities of working for yourself.
Sheree has been working from the office in Teignmouth since the beginning of this year.
Sheree shares our ethos that ‘people work with people’ and as such we feel it is important for you to have the opportunity to meet up with us before deciding whether to appoint us to act for you.
Sheree will be offering the same high level of accountancy support that our clients have come to expect from us over the years.
